I liked it!
I was happy with my stay at Green Tree. They have a pool, spa and sauna. Restrooms were clean. Lots of trees. Real nice folks. Guy behind the counter had the biggest sideburns! Laundry had quite a few broken machines, but they said they were working to fix them.

The Place To Stay
Always wanted to visit Yellowstone but never made the time. The time (5 days) was well spent. We stayed at the park in our 26' 5th wheel and though close to our neighbors it was adequate. There was a lot of large motor homes that had no problem parking. The park personnel were professional and very helpful. I was surprised that the park had so many fallen dead trees that I feel could have been removed over time. The park is in a good location to visit all the sites. If you want to see bison, this is the place. Allow time for trips away from the park since the bison have the right of way on the roads and they take it very frequently. Overall, this is the place to stay if you want to have easy access to the sites and avoid long drives from outside the park. Oh yes, park gas is $4.26 a gallon. No cell phone connections or TV as advertised. A park pay phone is available and daily paper available.

nice park
I am a traveling nurse and stayed at the Wind River RV Park for six months. Wonderful staff, clean facilities, including laundry room and showers. Family came to visit from back east and used the showers. Very clean. Quiet at night. Riverton could use better restaurants but overall the experience was great. The campground is very nice during the winter with heater wands in the ground next to the water pipes to prevent freezing. The staff will tell the campers what they need to do to prepare for winters in Wyoming if you are not prepared. Would definitely stay again. Also has wonderful wifi and cable.

Just Back from Fishing Bridge
We just stayed at Fishing Bridge for the first time. We have a 32' Springdale and tow with a Ford F-250. After reading the reviews I was expecting it to be close quarters, and it is. We noticed that everyone with a long trailer took quite awhile to get their rig backed in. Once we were parked we never felt like we were too close, even though our camper and the one caddy corner were almost touching with the slide outs. Everybody spends most of the their time out in the park, so the close quarters weren't too important. Each campground has a ranger talk or family campfire in the evening, and that was neat. Fishing Bridge has little log tepees for the kids to play with too. We did use the pay showers once, and I didn't find them very clean, but they got the job done! The laundry facility was very busy while we were there, but we got our laundry done without waiting for anyone else. We also bought an adapter for the water pressure. We attended a ranger led talk on Mountain Men at Bridge Bay, and it was well worth the time. We highly recommend it.

Very Pricey, not worth it!
We stayed at the Grand Teton Park RV Resort for one night. The sites were fairly small, with uneven grass, but had all the hookups we needed. The roads in were narrow and a little hard to drive a 35 foot RV. The price was what was outrageous. They charged $6.50 extra per person for more than 2 people, it was as much as staying in a motel. I did use the bathroom to shower, very old and run down but there was nice warm water. The people in the front office were not as friendly as they should have been, they didn't seem to care about customer service. There has to be better places to stay, that are cheaper and nicer.
