My family camped for the first time at Sherwood Forest Campground over Memorial weekend and we had a great time! They have a really nice heated pool and a kiddie pool for your little ones. My kids ages 7 & 10 also enjoyed the gameroom and playgrounds. Our favorite part of our stay was how wooded and secluded the campground was. It was like we where actually in a forest which is hard to believe since the campground is within walking distance...

Stayed at Sherwood Forest RV Park over Wo-Zah-Wa weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the primitive sites for a campground so close to downtown. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would question the three block walk to downtown as it seemed a bit further than that, but still worth it to leave your car at the campground so not to fight with traffic. Would stay there again if in the area.
