This trip was arranged for us. We went to be with other members of our large family (all ages). When we got there, the roads were in disrepair, the camp sites were poorly marked and filthy! There was garbage all over our site. Quiet hours were not observed on either night we were there, with "seasonal trailer" residents having loud parties and using foul language. I felt as if I had descended into white trash hell. Security did nothing. I would never recommend this place.

Staff are not friendly at all! We made our reservations on the phone. Since we went on Fourth of July weekend, they required us to tell them how many people are coming and charged my credit card with the payment. We keep telling Nancy, the person we spoke with on the phone, that we were not sure exactly how many people are coming. She said put them in even though they are not sure and they can make adjustments when we got there and they can refund us the difference. When we showed up, they told us no refund and keep pointing to their sign. Nancy never told us there is no refund and was just surprised about it. The old guy and their manager was arguing with us and keep saying no refund. They were mean and keep telling us to shut up when we were explaining the situation. We left not getting our refund because they walked away from us. They're robbers on their own way!
Be warned! People are not friendly and they don't follow their rules in terms of quiet time. 1am people were still making loud noises. Also, no lake to fish and very sandy, I mean sand not gravel!

Arrowhead Campground is a good place to go. but the roads are not any good. I been there for 9 years now. They have rental golf carts, mini golf, shuffle board, 2 heated pools, nightly movie, events, hayride, and more. The quiet time here is 10:00pm-7:00am. The Pool is open at 10am-10pm. Their is security.
