Poorly run campground
After reading over the rules adopted by the Campground Owners I see many rules being unenforced that could pose a danger to the people camping there, plus possible property damage, and possibly opening the owners of the campground up for a lawsuit which in my mind they would loose. For starters it is supposed to be 1 camping unit. 1 family, 2 vehicles per site. Not enforced. They are supposed to supply garbage bags, they don't. Campsites are not clean. Golf carts are being driven by young kids, no adult supervision, and too fast. Kids on bikes drive recklessly endangering the safety of people walking. Pets left alone at sites while the family goes swimming or up to the office. Next is quiet time on weekends is 11:00, groups of young adults,high school and college kids, which are not even supposed to be at a site in the first place according to rule #1, stay up all hours of the night getting drunk, yelling, etc. I will never camp here again unless there is new ownership.

Great park ... very close to trains
This is a great KOA. Better than most if not all of the 50+ we've stayed at over the years. Prices were responsible as well. The park is well kept, the pool and splash pad were well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This could be an 5-star park if there wasn't a train directly across the street. Half a dozen or so trains go by every night and they are loud.

Hi...left Yukon Trails after about 20 years as a weekender and then a seasonal (12 yrs). We loved the campground. Beautiful sites in the pines, quiet...away from the hub-bub of the Dells...yet convenient (10 mins. to get there)if you so chose. When it was family run, there were no complaints. When the corporation took over, what a change! We did have a few good managers (4 in 5 years) and then...one of the worst people I have ever met in my life. I heard she is gone...to Belvidere, Illinois. The Corporation is not interested in doing any improvements. We were told that it is a write off. If the place is empty, it is no big deal. And, evidently, they don't care who runs the place or who stays or leaves. (The new manager, 2010, seems like a sweetheart, however, but I'm sure they will fire her because she is). How very sad this has been. But...we have moved to a great place, people smile, talk to you and enjoy each other. So, in the end, I'm glad that the corp. let us down

Cows?
We arrived at 4pm and the office was closed. We couldn't purchase fire wood because that was closed too. There is a nice little fishing pond (didn't get a bite) with a water fountain in it and a playground. Bathroom was clean. Showers are 25 cents for 3 minutes. The next morning it smelled like we were in the middle of a cow pasture. Maybe the wind changed from the previous night. My husband said the store was the nicest camp store he's seen.

Very disappointing, it says kid friendly but it's not more like a nursing home. They charge extra for everything, Poison Ivy is everywhere, the owners seem really nice until you are actually there and have paid your money then they are rude. The dump station is right next to the pool so you get a terrible smell while your swimming. The mini golf hasn't been fixed in years many things are not working on the course. My family and I were really excited to being going there but very disappointed with our stay. We will not be going back and do not recommend it.
