Great for Golf - from TripAdvisor.com
My husband and I, who love to golf, picked this location for its proximity to Pittsburgh and Grandma (where we would drop the kids). Golf was incredible! We both loved the course and the people. We don't recommend this resort if you are looking for a lot of activity and things to do. It is truly to relax and enjoy the outdoors and the golf. Since we golfed everyday, we loved it! The people were incredibly nice and boy were we relaxed. The food...

Pretty Dissapointed - from TripAdvisor.com
We just stayed at Stonewall Resort for our anniversary which is one of several times. The food is consistently disappointing for the prices charged especially with flies on the open buffet items. The room was nice except for the stained carpet in the room and in the elevator, hotel is aging and needs some updates at this point. The pools are nice as well as the hot tub, but there is no lifeguard and little supervision of kids in the hot tub...

Some care, most don't - from TripAdvisor.com
My wife and I spent two days at Stonewall Resort to attend an event. We checked in at 4 and we thought the check-in was fine. At six we went to the restaurant and was told that reservations are required, and the desk always tells people when they check in. Seems if we wanted to eat room service was our only choice. We ended up spending $30 for a hamburger and a bowl of soup! After the event the next day, we went down to the bar in the evening....

Nice place for rest and relaxation - from TripAdvisor.com
My husband and I spent our yearly anniversary trip at Stonewall Resort. We are from WV so we have been trying different places in WV to stay on our anniversary. Stonewall resort was a nice place, the lobby is gorgeous and the scenery is beautiful. Our room was just fine, very clean with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. We didn't do the spa, although it looked as though it had a lot of nice options.
The staff was extremely friendly and...

For the Older Crowd - from TripAdvisor.com
We stayed at Stonewall Resort for two nights. Although we didn't necessarily have any problems, we would never stay here again. Unless you like golf, there really isn't much to do and everything closes early, probably because the clientele is largely elderly (the sports bar closes at 11! ). I do not recommend the spa. Calling it a "spa" is a stretch. It is a basic hair salon like you'd find in any small rural town except that this one has a few...

Incredible Views!! - from TripAdvisor.com
Spent a week at Stonewall Resort as a family in one of the cabins surrounding the lake. The cabin was cute and very clean (3 bedrooms/2 baths), with a full kitchen and fireplace. Also had its own washer and dryer which came in handy with so much activity on and around the lake.
The staff is mostly young - late teens and early twenties, but very polite and accommodating. We really enjoyed sitting on our deck in the mornings, drinking coffee,...

Pleasant Experience - from TripAdvisor.com
Just returned from a night at this resort. It was our first experience visiting the park and resort. We were pleased to find out that it is located just a couple of minutes from I-79. We were part of a large group wedding reception being hosted on the property. The grounds and surrounding state park and Arnold Palmer golf course were immaculate.
The staff was more than pleasing. Our room was located on the second floor which was nice because...
