Not a great place to ride

2 of my friends and I recently visited Ft. Valley Stable & Campgrounds. Everything was very nice, except, the riding, which of course, was the main reason we went. Some friends warned us, and the website mentions that shoes are needed, but even with shoes, it was a horrible experience for our horses. Even though they were shod all the way around, they still struggled with their footing. The trails were so worn, there were places their hooves...

Great Stay and Trail Ride

Recommend Fort Valley Stables for a nice, well maintained place to camp with trailer and they have some cabins as well. And they will stable your personal horses. Great surroundings, nice peaceful setting. We went on a trail ride with one of the guides and enjoyed! Recommend!
