We have business in Charlottesville and have stayed both here and Misty Mountain. Both are average, but I would say this KOA is slightly better.
The owners checked us in and they were helpful and pleasant. The park is fairly clean and maintained.
It was 90+ degrees when we were there and we had hoped to use the pool. It was cold and the water murky so opted not to.

I would rate this campground average for a KOA. The employees were helpful when it came to getting information about the local area. The location was about 20 mins out of Charlottesville, which was a very easy commute. The facilities, though we didn't use any, seemed to be kept up. We couldn't get cell phone coverage. The campground does offer free Wifi, which we enjoyed. The pool was average. My only negative I could site is that it was a bit...
