Pleasant enough but too small and cramped - from TripAdvisor.com
|
This is an older park right on a city street. However, it is not noisy and is very clean and tidy. There are a couple of cafe' type restaurants within an easy level walk. Interior roads are paved and sites are gravel.
Staff is quite cordial and welcoming. There is a lovely outdoor pool and spa, and the showers are large and modern. There is a well equipped exercise room, a comfy TV/movie room with soft leather couches, and a club house.
Many people here are long-term live-ins. There is a line of overnight spaces on the edge of the live-in area, and these sites are the only ones that have trees. The rest of the overnighter spots are in a gravel lot with no trees or landscaping. All of the spaces have full hookups, cable TV and wi-fi, and picnic tables.
The problem with this park is that it is poorly designed and far too tight for todays' rigs. All of the treed spaces require a 90º turn to get into them, and the roads simply are not wide enough. We had to ask the neighbor to move his car, (which he was *not* happy about!) as there was just not enough room to maneuver into our site with our dually and 28' travel trailer. We watched another overnighter with a 32' 5th wheel work and work until he finally shoe-horned it in.
Additionally, the spaces are not overly wide, and designed where you park your towing vehicle sort of over in your neighbor's site. Fortunately, we had a small Class C next to us so had room for the dually.
So even though there are nice facilities, the cramped design spoiled this park for us, especially considering the nearly $40 per night cost.
