Never Stay Here - from TripAdvisor.com

Spanish Trail is probably the worst RV Park experience we've had in our 20 years of traveling by motorcoach. We booked a spot for our 24 foot class A motorhome assured that we would get a pull through and 50 amp power. Guess what! We arrived and were shunted to a filthy drive in site with bags of cigarette butts everywhere. Power was 30 amp and we could not even run the microwave and a heater at the same time. Bathrooms are hideous, don';t believe their hype about "best bathrooms". It's a lie. Next, the wi-fi is terrible to non-existent. I spoke with 6 other travelers and they too could not even send or receive a single e-mail. The biggest problem though is the person who apparently manages the place. When I discussed our site placement with her even though there were plenty of pull through spaces vacant she apparently was saving those in "case a 40 ft. coach" came in. She actually said "we look after ourselves, not you". This is a person that should not be in the hospitality and tourism industry as she gives Moab and all RV parks a bad name. We arrived at 3:00 PM before a long weekend and unfortunately could not find another site without a reservation or we would have been long gone. There are many other parks in Moab so avoid this one.

Small, friendly site - from TripAdvisor.com
|
This was our first, ever, stay at an RV site!
We arrived late in the evening but found our location details and a map on the office door, which we thought very helpful.
The whole site has plenty of trees and shade, and ideal for anyone wanting peace and quiet. Not really for kids, as there is not much available for them.
The location is picturesque, with a nice rockfall behind. The toilets and showers are nice and clean - free showers, by the way, not like some sites where you have to pay.
The office/shop has very little in terms of supplies, but Moab itself is about 3 to 4 miles away, so no real problem. There is a room for washing clothes behind the office, although we never used it during our short stay.
Ken, the owner, seems to be around most of the time, and is nice and friendly. We were sitting at the window in our RV and the next thing we saw was our son being driven around by Ken!
The only (minor) drawbacks are =:
1. The site is the other side of Moab to the Arches Park. However, you are going to have to drive there anyway, so don't let this put you off. 2. You have to keep your eyes open to locate it as it is not all that well signposted.

A very pretty RV park! - from TripAdvisor.com

Beautiful views of the red rocks from our site at Spanish Trail RV Park. Very clean. The neighboring RVers were very friendly and quiet. It was a bit further south from the national parks than we wanted to be, and they really do need to put a sign closer to the street since the driveway can be easily missed, but the park was so pretty and the price was right. I would definitely go back.
