Overnight success

We stayed here on a 'stop and go' heading towards the Grand Tetons National Park. It was spotless, easy to get into and very convenient to return to the freeway. We did not hear any of the freeway noise, as another reviewer complained of, the space easily accommodated our 40' fifth wheel with four slides and still had room to park our dually GMC. We were invited to a pot-luck supper, but declined having been too exhausted from our days travel....

Thought this campground would be a great alternative to the KOA... how wrong could I be??? They began tearing up the roads on this "new" park a week after I arrived (No notice!). Today I return home and find a note on the door stating that there won't be power in the park from 8am to 5pm for the next 3 days (not even 24hrs notice). But don't stay at Pony Express RV Resort! The spaces are way too close together and so unlevel that it makes it hard even if you have automatic levelers. The whole park is concrete and black-top with very little grass or Shade Tree's. They seem to get a lot of "Oil Workers" since they are so close to the refinery. You can also smell the "stench" from the refinery and hear the roar of the traffic on the expressway that runs right through the...
