4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars Quaint little cabin - from TripAdvisor.com
We stayed for at Moab Valley RV Park for two nights, and our tiny air conditioned cabin was a pleasant oasis from the sultry Moab heat in July. We stayed in one of the nicer cabins, which included a private bathroom. It was relatively inexpensive, private, quiet and clean. It had a practically new shower and toilet, a tiny sink and small fridge, which fit all our cooler items - very handy! It had one twin bed and a double/queen. And it had an average-size TV with cable. Outside, it had a single shade parking space, a small porch and picnic table. We made our breakfast and ate out there, as there's very little room for anything but sleeping inside the cabin. The staff was professional and prompt. My only complaint is the sink was very tiny and we had to wash a few dishes in it, as well as take care of personal hygiene. Also, the cabin is pretty dark, with only one very small window. But we didn't spend much time inside, except to sleep and shower. There's also a small pool, which was full every time we drove by, but we didn't use it. All in all, the place suited our needs and we'd stay there again if we returned to Moab.

1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Watch out for their refund policy!
We reserved a week with Moab Valley RV Park based on their website. You may have seen where it says "real pictures, real recent". What the pictures didn't show was that the mosquitoes and the raw sewage smell were so bad that we couldn't spend one single evening outside our RV's. With three nights to go, we spoke to them about a refund for the unused days so we could move to another location away from the river. They were so quick to inform us of their "NO REFUND" policy that it was obvious we weren't the first to make this request. I can entirely understand such a policy if we reserved the space and didn't show up, or if we just decided to go home early, etc., but when we were moving across town because the conditions at their park were terrible, I believe we should have been reimbursed for the unused nights. I cannot think of another product that you have to pay for in advance and cannot get a refund for a portion that you not only didn't use, but you never even received.

4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars Convenient for Arches fun - from TripAdvisor.com
My husband and I stayed in one of the Econo cabins at Moab Valley. These come with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, some plastic chairs on the porch, a picnic table out front, a charcoal grill, electricity, and heater/air conditioner. You must supply your own bedding and towels. The cabin itself seemed newer and sturdier than some of the other "camper cabins" we have been in before. We thought it was a great place to stay while we were mountain biking and visiting the two national parks nearby. It is located on the side of Moab closer to Arches, making it convenient to get going out that way in the morning. We did end up driving the 2 miles between the camp and town quite often for meals, but if we had been truer "campers" that would not have mattered. The camp is right on the highway, but I did not notice the noise, and you can see the red rock faces to the north, which were pretty.

The park makes a big deal about their high cleanliness ratings on the showers/restrooms. It is rightly so, I think. I thought the facilities were very good. I did not use the pool or hot tub, but it looked typical. We had mountain bikes. The office said they had a place to store them, but you had to have them in by 9 pm and could not get them out until 8 am, so we ended up just keeping in our cabin, which worked fine.

I thought the Econo cabins were great budget accommodations. I enjoyed staying at the campground a lot more than I would have a boring chain motel and the only real difference was I had to bring my own sheets/pillows and walk a little ways to a shared bathroom. I would recommend them even if you don't think of yourself as a camper. It seems like the motels in Moab may be a little over priced, and this is a great alternative.

5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars Cottage with shower and bathroom - from TripAdvisor.com
The cottage is situated between the RV's. It's not as big as we thought it would be, but the view made up for that.

There is a shower and private bathroom in the cabin, also a TV, fridge and microwave. The beds (one queen and one single bed) were nice and stable, which is good for people with a bad back ! Only they had a kind of plastic cover under the bedsheets, which made us sweat a little bit and was noisy when one of us turned.

The swimming pool and hot tub looked very nice, but we only stayed one night and didn't find time to relax in it.

The staff were helpful and friendly to us, although it was extremely busy due to the annual car show.

Wi-Fi was dial up I kid you not. Not the best place to tent. No fires allowed. Very windy. you can hear every truck going over the bridge outside the property loudly all night. Showers are hot but they don't spray, they more or less gush. The cabins seem like the best bet or bring an RV. The pool and hot tub were nice though. The kids playground looked like it came from a derelict subdivision in middle America. No security patrol to keep the kids noise down to a low roar after hours.

2.0 stars2.0 stars2.0 stars2.0 stars2.0 stars Moab Valley RV Resort - Poor Customer Service! - from TripAdvisor.com
Very nice facility. However, absolutely the rudest customer service I have ever had. Virtually every staff member was rude and had no time to attend to our needs. Simple requests were turned responded to with comments like "like I have time for that". They are happy to take your money, but not so quick to treat you like a human being and a customer.

3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars Fairly good for the money - from TripAdvisor.com
I stayed at the Moab Valley RV Park approximately 5 years ago when it was under different owners. I was not as impressed this stay as I was during my initial stay. I did not think that it was as clean and as well taken care of this time around.

We stayed in a cabin with a queen bed and two twin beds. It had a wall unit air conditioner, a TV, and a small refrigerator. We had to use the communal shower and toilets. The shower heads were horrible in all the stalls. They sprayed every which way, and it was hard to keep the water from shooting you in the eyes!

In our cabin we did not get maid service, but at one point I asked for clean sheets and they were given to me. They also have free Wi-Fi, a nice pool, laundry facilites ($1.75 to dry and wash), and a small convenience store.

For the money, this is a good place to stay.

5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars What a bargain! - from TripAdvisor.com
We spent three nights at Moab Valley RV & Campark just last week, mid August 2004. My husband and I like to mix it up as we travel nice hotels and budget accommodations all in the name of keeping it interesting and extending our travel dollars.

We booked an Econo Cabin for less than $40 per night. The cabin was air conditioned and contained only a very basic double bed and bunk beds. We brought our own linens and pillows, as instructed by the friendly managers. We chose to stay in the cabins that were at the North end of the facility, away from the RV's and the noise of their generators. That part of the park was very quiet and the nearby bathhouse was spotless and nearly deserted. The pool and spa also were immaculate as was the laundry.

We found this to be a tremendous travel bargain. The rooms are very basic, but safe and clean. Highly recommended to those who would rather save the money and use it for something fun like white water rafting!

5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars5.0 stars Under the Huge Red Rocks - from TripAdvisor.com
We spent two nights in a A/C cabin which was very pretty (all wood and so cute), very clean, spacious and with our own fridge and TV. The premises are impeccably maintained, nice & clean swimming pool, sparkly clean bathrooms and showers, pretty grounds with the staff always there to help us and all that with a huge smile. Highly recommended!
