Great Campground - from TripAdvisor.com

"Best bathrooms in Utah" is their motto and it's correct! Kamping Kabins are very nice, standart KOA. People were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful scenery, only a few miles from town and Arches National Park. We loved staying there and will go back again.

Love this place - from TripAdvisor.com

We stayed at the Kabins for a week and loved it. It is 5 miles from town. Far enough to be away from it all, but close enough to get to everything. The staff is great. Much better in person than when I called on the phone.
Don't expect you are staying in a hotel. This is a campground. It is great if you want the camp ground atmosphere without the tent. There was road noise, but most all the places hotel or camping are close to the road. If you want complete quiet, spend the big bucks and stay at the Red Cliffs Lodge.
I think to many people expect the glitz out of a cheap place to stay.

go to a motel, not in Koa kabins! - from TripAdvisor.com

we booked a kabin for 6 persons. The spaces are extremely tight and the kabins are near the road. The AC is extremely noisy, so you can't expect put the Ac in the night if you want to sleep.

Friendly people camping - from TripAdvisor.com

We stayed at the KOA in Moab for a long weekend in late March. It was just before the Jeep expo, so a lot of tourists were pouring into the town. The KOA in Moab is located quite far south of Moab, which does make for better "camping" but takes a bit to get back to "downtown" if you want to go shopping or anything.
We have a small trailer, but it seemed that a lot of the stalls were quite small and/or close together. Fires are not allowed in Moab, but they did have a grill to cook with if you brought your own charcoal. The bathrooms & showers were cleaned daily and weren't too bad for camping showers. One of the showers we were in did run out of hot water just after shampooing, so that was not a pleasant experience. The Moab KOA also has a pool (which does not open until May), a mini-golf course, a game/arcade room, and a couple of playgrounds for smaller kids. There is a small convenience store at the check-in area, and prices were somewhat reasonable for the convenience of buying last minute items without having to travel.
