Havens Landing RV Resort, one of the most well equipped, clean, & relaxing places you can visit in the Montgomery/Conroe Teaxs area. We held Our Family Reunion there this past weekend (July 8-10, 2005) and it was awesome. Not only was the atmosphere in the 1 & 2 bedroom cottages (all with fully equipped kitchens & cleaning supplies) which surrounded a well stocked fishing lake, but the playgrounds, lighted pier, swimming pool, clubhouse, & grand ballroom (which included a huge kitchen, stage, that is setup as you request) were beautiful. We had full access to the entire premise. Jody and the staff were the lovely, their friendly attitudes puts the icing on the cake. Ginger catered to our family's every need during the entire time. There was not a complaint from any of the 290+ family members that attended. During the event our family occupied 14-cottages, after showing other members they would like to reserve one next year. Yes, We the " Horace Family" , have already voted and agreed that our "2006 family reunion", will be held at Havens Landing. We have already confirmed & reserved our date along with 25-cottages & the grand ballroom. I'm sure once the word gets out to the rest of the family, I'll be calling back to reserve the remaining 10-cottages on the hillside, which has a splendid view over looking the entire resort. To anyone who asks ... Our family recommends Havens Landing for any event or just a get away ... The location is great, the cost affordable.

We attended a family reunion event at Havens Landing RV Park and found it to be the ideal location for such a gathering. The resort provided fully equipped gathering rooms with full kitchen facilities, this was ideal to manage costs of feeding our large group. The "landing" is made up of both 1 and 2 bedroom cottage facilities as well as over 200 RV sites with full hook ups. The cottages are not what you would expect...they rival the quality of many 4 star luxury suite hotels. Each cottage is situated around a lovely lake setting (which is stocked with fish).The main clubhouse has an indoor heated pool facility with a hot tub and children's pool and full size heated pool ideal for lap swimmers. Adjacent to the pool in the same building, adults have a large meeting room with a huge big screen TV.The staff is quite friendly and always ready to accommodate. We found the entire facility extremely clean and neat. The owners Joe and Margaret Havens are quite hands-on at the landing and have spared no expense in making sure this facility has the best amenities available.We had the opportunity to use their new WiFi system, which provides wireless internet connectivity everywhere in the park. I sat by the pool and logged into the office while I watched the kids swimming in the pool. As with everything here at the Landing, nothing is half way, the wifi was tied to a back haul connection providing lightening speeds and no performance sag. My computer uses a "G" card and I was moving data at over 22mbps.The Landing specializes in Family reunions, Weddings and RV events. According to Jody and Pam the Managers, they are open to new event challenges, recently they had hosted a major kennel club event which was quite successful. Enjoy you visit at the Landing!
