A gem in the desert
Eagle's nest is a real gem among rocks out here in the high desert of west Texas. As most people will agree it's hard to find shade in this part of the country but Eagle's Nest has plenty of shade trees that are mature and full of relief from the sun. You will find that the camp host "Ray and Mary" will do almost anything to help make your stay as nice as can be. I have witnessed Ray help people from parking to hooking up the less than plesent...
