Best Campground on the Quiet Side of the Smokies

Tremont Outdoor Resort is the last campground before the park entrance on the Townsend side of the Smokies. Can be a bit pricey "in season", but you get what you pay for. Caters to RVs as opposed to Tent Camping. All the amenities you would want in a quiet, peaceful campground. Treat yourself - get a river site - worth the increase in price.
