Great location, but lacks privacy - from TripAdvisor.com

We were a group of 10 people in two 5th wheels campers. One was 38 feet and the other was 32 feet. Pulling into the campsite was a little tight with the big rigs. We were in the second row of sites. The waterfront is a small bay- no waves, but big jellyfish in the water that terrified the children. Also if you are traveling with children bring life vests and extra money for the kayaks and paddle boats and inflatable water toys. We found nothing in the web site mentioning the need for life jackets. One more thing- listen for the airplanes take off starting near 7am from OC airport (very loud).
Needless to say we did not stay in the campground during the day. We went to Huntington Beach (great beach,) Laguna Beach and surrounding malls.
The camp sites were so close and crammed together. We could easily hear neighbors conversations and I'm sure we woke up a few of our neighbors because it was hard to keep the kids quiet in the morning. Also the parking was awful. To many extra vehicles (ATVs and golf carts) The men in the group complained about the mens bathroom. They said it was loaded with spiders and spiderwebs and had a bad odor. The women thought the restrooms were fine( no creatures or bad smell). Staff was helpful and prompt when we requested an new picnic table because the original one was warped and falling apart.
I would need to think about returning. Its is so centrally located to all the great So Cal beaches.
