Not a good campground
|

We camped there in the middle of the summer. There are many large trees for shade. But we went to get on the free shuttle to go to Kings Dominion ... 45 minutes we waited (it was late)and then by the time it came there were too many for the shuttle. We were the first people waiting to get on and got pushed out of line by very rude people then ended up not getting on. The staff did not care. They told us that the next shuttle will be coming soon. It was almost 11:00 by that time. We ended up using our van and had to pay to park. By the time we got to the park the lines were long and it was hot. We were mad and did not want to ever go back to the campground. It is the only one in the area so lots use it. Good luck to any who try the shuttle.
