The campground is a bit on the more expensive side, but it's a great place for families with children due to all the activities they have for the kids every day; organized sports, candy-bar-bingo, canoing, etc.
They're in a prime location, a half hours drive to Ocean City or Cape May, and right down the street from the Cape May County Zoo. But the campground is also off of the main roads, so there is no infiltration of highway noises whatsoever.
The facilities are generally well kept. The campsites are close together, but generally wooded. They have cabins, tent sites, RV sites, and seasonal sites.
There is a sense of community among those who stay all summer at the campground, and I could see this being slightly off-putting to those who just want to spend a long weekend there. Everybody knows everybody & their business. The staff does ride around at night looking for riff-raff, and also looking to charge you for an extra car parked overnight. Unlike another reviewer stated, drinking isn't prohibited but they do tend to crack down on loud parties after dark.
Overall, a nice place to stay, more so if you're staying all summer instead of just a weekend.
