El Grande, at Arch View campgroud - from TripAdvisor.com

We, too, stumbled upon the Arch View Resort website and booked the Cabin El Grande for 2 AARP types and 1 well traveled boxer, for 2 nights in OCT of 01. We are booked for 3 nights this coming October. Wish it could be longer. The Cabin can sleep 6+,{loft bedroom, futon and hide-a-bed in living room}, but we used only the loft Queen. Our boxer was allowed on the futon. It has satellite TV.This kitchen utensils are eclectic, a bit rustic, but plentiful. You can cook in the El Grande.The Cabin's private bath is roomy and has a nice shower, no tub. Yes the website implies "NO Pets", in deluxe Cabins, but for AARP types, with 1 well traveled dog, and a port-a-kennel, Mitch may take your reservation.The Campground is @10 miles out of Moab, Great for star gazing, and watching distant lightning storms. It adjoins the wild BLM lands, room to let our boxer Off Leash. Room to roam for hours. She almost caught a jack-rabbit, and hated to check out. In spit of the cactus spines, She will love a return visit. If you travel with a dog that loves to run, bring tweezers, and add an extra star to the rating.
