Great Time
|
|
We had 4 campers and 1 tent. We had a great time. Sat around the fire with friends at night and rode the bikes all day. It is not a fancy, big dollar campground but if you like it laid back and friendly, this is the place to go. I loved every minute of our stay.

Old fashioned camping
|

This is an old-fashioned camping experience. Since we don't really participate in family or campground sponsored activities and just like to veg out when we camp, Steel Steeds was perfect for us. They have travel trailers for rent and a central campfire. And during the day, we either went out riding our motorcycle or floated lazily in the river. Even tried fishing a bit (not my best skills). And in the evening, we could stop at Mindy's Tavern...
