Great campground, great value
|

This is one of my favorites of all the camp grounds I've been to. It's only 1/2 hour from Route 17 but you feel like you're a million miles from anywhere. It's family run. Tara at check in is a sweet heart, and her brother Jeremy will deliver your firewood or ice directly to you camp site at no extra charge.The place is very inexpensive for the level of service and beauty they provide. Good campground, very poor management

The location of Soaring Eagle Campground is fantastic, but the owner was very rude. First of all, he gave away the river site we reserved weeks in advance to other campers, and when we expressed our unhappiness, did not even apologize. His daughter was nice enough to offer some free fire wood later.
