A friend and I stayed at KOA Bandon for one night just as a stopover on our way down the coast as an alternative to a motel. As far as campgrounds go, this one is nice, clean and has every amenity one would need right on the premises - from showers to laundry to a hot food vendor, and there even appeared to be a small selection of rental movies. It has a nice playground for all ages of children as well as the pool and gameroom.

I have been to KOA campgrounds all over the Western US. This is the VERY BEST KOA I have experienced. The spaces are far apart with lots of trees and shrubs for privacy. The pool and (huge) hot tub are very nice. The kids loved the 25 cent game room & free basketball court as well as the nightly train rides through the park. The store was stocked with essential supplies. They served a nice pancake breakfast and a very popular ice cream...
