Wedged between a busy road and a truck stop

The Council Road RV park is in fact conveniently located to Oklahoma City ... just off I40. Very easy on/off from the highway.
However, it is wedged between a busy road and a truck stop ... neither providing much appeal to this park.
We stayed one night on our way to Albuquerque, NM so it served its purpose.

Great highway access, but loud and a bit run down.

This campground has great access to the highway, but is run down. The traffic noise is loud at night. It's good if you only need to stop to get some rest and then get back on the road.

Urban Campground

This campground is convenient to most of OKC. We have family in the area and have stayed here twice. This was a dated and run down park but the new owners are cleaning, updating and improving it. The restrooms have been renovated and are nice and clean. The owners are very friendly and caring.
The sites are large and level with gravel pads and grassy patio areas. There are both shady and sunny sites.
