Great Campground!

This review is to comment on the review right below mine. I don't know where you come from or what you are expecting in a campground, but it is not a fancy campground, but it is a great on with great people, the main lake is always clean for swimming and for your information most ponds do have algae on them, that is what a pond is. I have a seasonal site here and I love it.

Nasty Lakes and bathrooms!

I don't know when you all went to Lake Wapusun, but I just went July 2009 and it was nasty! The Lakes were full of algae and my kids couldn't swim or fish. Also the bathrooms were disgusting. The water smelled really bad and they even had chain pulls in the shower. Once you let go the water would cut off! We camped at Lake Wapusun during their Halloween Weekend Festivities. I must say that I am impressed with all that they had going on! They had trick or treating, costume judging with cider & donuts, and a creative haunted hayride. My kids really had a good time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Wapusun. The staff is very helpful, the camp is beautiful. They are a family oriented camp with activities for you to do. We will definitely come back!
