My significant other and I stayed at this campsite for three nights in July 07 while we were in town to see the Smashing Pumpkins play at the Orange Peel.
Now, let me begin this review by saying that our stay was supposed to be four nights, but the first night we arrived late (it was already dark) and despite me having called to inform the owner that I was going to be getting in late, the front desk was unmanned (and locked) and the owner...

We stayed in a cabin at the French Broad River Campground. The river was beautiful and the location nice and reasonably convenient. The cabin was functional and had heat, air, and a small shower, but needed some attention as well. A fresh coat of paint would have done wonders, as would a good cleaning. A few items such as coat hooks and a lamp or two would really have topped it off. There was no fireplace inside, but small fire ring outside....
