1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Beware this is no park, it is a parking lot only!
Cramped, run down, poorly layed out. Rear yard 100' I40 front yard 200' I26 traffic noise. This is no place for children they were all playing in the narrow road through park very dangerous. Woodall rated? Trailer Life rated 5/4/5. If you are good with parking your motorhome in a substandard, hole in the wall this is your spot. The rating books have not seen this park in years or they are not not to be trusted. No wifi, no dog walk, no quiet, no grass,no room to breath and really a disappointment. Walmart a better choice, at least you know what to expect. Enterprise car rental was best part of stay.

We stayed at Bear Creek RV Park for 3 nights and the people who run the campground were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located close to I -40 and as we were visiting Biltmore Estate is only one exit away. We weren't at the campground much during the day, but it was quiet at night and a nice place to stay.

1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Don't go here if you actually want an outdoor experience! - from TripAdvisor.com
We are pop up campers and online this place looked good especially since we needed to be in Asheville for a race and wanted to be close. The sites are cramped, there is very little open space and the backyard is I40. We were up the entire first night hearing traffic from I 40 and we could smell the sewer from the larger RVs. We got up at 6, packed up and found another campground that was MUCH better (Campfire Lodgings). If you are in an RV and can't hear anything because it is huge and don't care about being outside at a fire pit or enjoying some resemblance of camping, this is a great place. If you want ANY sense of camping or if you are in a pop up and can hear outside noise, don't go here. I should have listened to the reviews this is not great camping for those who actually want an outdoor camping experience. Our new campsite was still only 15 minutes out of town (Campfire Lodgings) but we had trees, mountains, a fire pit and peaceful surroundings.

I would stay here only for an overnight rest. RV's are extremely close to each other. The wireless internet is not so great. Hard to get a connection and when you get one you loose it quickly. The cable is iffy at best. There is no place for your pet to walk or take care of its business. Not a great place for small children. It is just to congested and lots of road noise. The spaces have do not shade. I don't think I will stay here again. There are other nicer places around this area.

3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars No internet connection-don't believe it - from TripAdvisor.com
The pool looked nice (a little too cool to use it), the showers across the way were nice(there are also some next to the pool but a little older condition), the laundry was clean but small. The cable TV connection was good. Our paved RV site (P3) was not level (slanted to the back).
Big rigs (we have 21' Roadtrek) need to be good drivers because the roads are not all that wide.
Biggest beef is the "Free WiFI". It comes and goes, mostly goes. We specifically asked about it when called to reserve and got the site closest to the office for a good connection. God help those with a bad location.
For some reason a lot of RV parks in the area charge for a connection and this park did not. We paid $31 which is average for the Asheville location. We're headed to Cherokee NC area tomorrow, look for another review.

1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Horrible experience - from TripAdvisor.com
We pulled into Bear Creek RV Park after a 600 + mile trip in one day...tired, hungry and ready for a break. I had booked two RV sites a couple of months in advance and, since we were only staying one night, had prepaid the entire amount.

When we arrived at about 9 p.m., the woman at the desk told me I owed an additional $8. I told her we had prepaid and she said the rates had increased. I told her I was never notified of an increase. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me that she WAS the manager and if I didn't want to pay the extra amount, we could leave. We were too tired and hungry to go off in search of another, better, place to spend the night so we stayed but vowed to never stay there again and to tell as many people as possible about our unpleasant experience.

3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars Cheap tent camping, nice place, great location - from TripAdvisor.com
We stayed at this campground/RV park last year for two nights. It is a nice place but is certainly primarily an RV park. When we were there it was the fall and the weather was fantastic for tent camping. The tent sites are small and there are only a small number. The tent sites look over a small house right down a small hill and look up at the butt ends of the huge RV's. There was a small building with two heated bathrooms with hot water. The bathrooms were pretty large which allowed my fiance and I to get ready in the bathroom at the same time. There was only one other couple there when we were there so there was no waiting for the bathtrooms and it was quite and pleasant. We brought our two dogs and they had a fantastic time running every morning with the other couples dog in the large field adjacent to the tenting area. If you are looking for an inexpensive camping if you don't plan on spending much time at this is a nice little place. The people in the office were very nice and you can buy tickets to Biltmore Estate right in the office which is very convenient. It costs no more to get them there than anywhere else and you don't have to stand in the crazy long lines at Biltmore, you just walk on in. We love Asheville so much but I don't think we will be staying at this campground again. We will look for a place up near Blowing Rock or Banner Elk which are amazing little towns. Hope this was helpful.

4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars4.0 stars Great Views - from TripAdvisor.com
This past March we spent a week in this park. We were in a back-in site on the upper level. The park is very clean and well maintained. These is a modem connection in the office. The views from the park are great. A very nice RV park and conveniently located. One of the best RV parks we stayed at on a 4000 mile two month trip.

Close by there is a great farmers market that's open year round. And if you like home cooking, try the Moose Cafe next to the entrance to the market. They use fresh ingredients from the farmer's market. After you are seated, they bring you huge homemade biscuits to snack on till your meal arrives. Very reasonable prices.
