Been camping at Shady Oaks for 2 years

My husband ask me to comment on the bad review written. We have been camping at this campground for over 2 years during the summer and we always get an activity schedule. We have not seen a bingo game scheduled in 3 years and they did not have a 50/50 raffle in 2008. The owners never collect for the raffle. Another campers does. It was not clean the owners could use a lesson in manners and how to respect people who are paying customers. Would not refund money after harassing us all weekend for stupid 50/50 ticket. I was there to relax. I couldn't because the owners would keep hounding me for more money. How can they think that it is ok to come on your lot and demand money for stupid bingo and 50/50 tickets ... there was hardly any campers ... maybe a handful at most ......

Beautiful quiet Campground

We enjoy staying at Shady Oaks everytime we travel from Canada to Plattsburgh to shop.
The owners are very friendly and they give
us the same premium site. The place is well
kept and the bathrooms are clean. We like
the convenience to the highway and to the beach on the lake.
