First time at Lake George

I read reviews but don't write any till now. Just got home Thursday from spending 10 days at King Phillips. I found the staff very/very friendly and helpful when someone left their site a staff member would show up to get it ready for the next camper. I found the grounds and bathroom very clean. The location was perfect so close to everything. We had the best time and will return.

Seasoned Campers

We finally found a campground facility that is very family oriented and one that we really enjoy. The grounds are well maintained, the new owners are very attentive to both seasonal and non-seasonal campers alike. New playground equipment is being installed and they have activities for kids every weekend. Their on-site store actually is stocked with all kinds of supplies. Sites are groomed after each use. We have been seasonal campers here for many years but this past season was our best ever. The new owners are great, such a wonderful family! With the new ownership, all the rules from previous years were kept and even with the small fee increase, it is still way below other campgrounds in the area. I've been camping here for 14 years

Not a lot of improvements from year to year and the pool is very small for the size of the campground. Sites are fairly large and the scenery is really nice. The seasonls really dress up this campground and make it very lovely. Bathrooms are ok 6/10, I've seen better and worse for that matter. Not sure if new owners will have the same popularity as previous owners.
