Nothing special - from TripAdvisor.com

Campground was nice and clean and staff friendly enough. Sites close together, separated by trees which are more like bushes than trees. Okay for overnight, but I wouldn't make this my end destination.

Very Nice Overall - from TripAdvisor.com
|
(Caveat: This was our first time staying in a KOA of any sort, though we stayed in many private campgrounds during a trip to New Zealand a couple years ago.)
The campground is nicely laid out among pinyon pine and juniper. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The 'Kabin' we rented was pleasant, and makes a good budget lodging option. The one problem is the location. It's reasonably close to the center to Santa Fe. However, the campground is located very close to I-25, so there is a constant background of traffic noise. So it never gets completely quiet, even at night. All of the Kabins are on the side of the campground closest to the freeway; some of the RV and tent sites are far enough away that they should be substantially quieter.
The noise is not a deal breaker, but it is a moderate annoyance.

RV Camping at its Best! - from TripAdvisor.com
|
Only 11 miles from old Santa Fe and the historic plaza, this campground was a pleasant find. All the usual KOA amenities in an immaculate wooded setting. Restrooms/showers and laundry facilities were especially remarkable for how clean and well kept. And the quaintest little gift shop with lots of Santa Fe style items at prices that were way better than down on the Plaza!
All sites are pull-throughs except for a few small sites meant for pickup campers. There are 5 50amp sites, all the rest are 30 amps. Nice game room and movies are shown between Memorial Day and Labor Day every evening.
I highly recommend this campground for your RV stopover in Santa Fe.
