Diversified ruined our dream
Diversified has completely sucked the campground dry. They have taken our money and ran. Anything that needed repair, they threw away. If you complain, they kick you out (because you are not happy). Many of us have been at Pine Haven for 2 or 3 decades and have much invested, so we don't want to leave. But that's what they want. The owners don't want the residents to be happy, they want to take the money and run. You can't believe a word that the owners say, they lie right to your face. This used to be a nice place. Now that it is owned by investors, they want your cash. The rate has doubled in 5 years, and they have taken everything away that made the place nice. They promised no increase for 2010, but they increased by $400... again! Thanks for nothing Diversified. Obviously you bought this place for an investment and could care less about the people who pay you. I am sure that attitude will come to bite you back in the end... You are destroying your own investment.

How to ruin a campground in 5 short years
When Diversified corp. first bought the campground. We had a store, an office, a snack bar, two slides into the lake, everything was well maintained. Now, the store, snackbar, and office are all in the same building. This year, because of bad management in the past, Many of the campers had to be moved from 'Deluxe sites' to small, inadequate (some made out of former roads). We had been told that we wouldn't have an increase in rates but they went up $400 a year anyway, if residents complain, they are given a letter saying that they have to leave since they are dissatisfied, and only given two weeks to leave. Management refuses to communicate with residents or have a meeting explaining the changes. When confronted directly, the owner Verne said that he didn't care if the residents were happy. I wouldn't want even my worst enemy to stay there!

I will never go back
The bathrooms were dirty and good luck finding a 3 pt hookup. This place really does not have much to offer ...we went out a couple nights and got back real late and ended up with a $32 fine because they said we left our trailer unattended to long ...when I asked the ranger to show me the rule that said you could be finned for being away from your trailer to long ...he could not show me any rules or anything that said they could fine you...but the hard a** chuck elliot...(RANGER) would not take away the fine. I will never return ...the place is a joke and you are right on top of each other like a parking lot...they cater to seasonals!

Family and I just got home from Timberline and we loved it! The best part about it, hands down, was the extremely friendly staff and seasonal campers! Sites are great with plenty of room to hang for large groups. Definitely a do-over:)

A great place
We had a place there for 3 years it was wonderful all the people that live there are great very clean everything in great working order. I wish we could have stayed there forever. If you are looking for a wonderful place this is it. Have round the clock security.
