A little short of four stars
Nice, clean, convenient, semi-tight sites. Expensive WiFi and Laundry. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They juggled spaces for us when we extended our stay twice. You can walk to their Casino and it's just a short drive to several others. About six miles to "The Strip".
Minus points for strange sewer hook-ups. No direct connection, waste hose just sort of hangs in a hole. YUK !!!

Not very good - from TripAdvisor.com
Sam's Town RV park is not very customer friendly. Not consistent in their prices of the sites. Very unorganized in the office staff. Their security officers were very rude to some people in the park.It could sure use some cleaning up. We weren't compensated for the power being off for almost a full day in which we had to use our L P. gas.So we will not stay here again and also not recommend this park to anyone else.

Good location, still not very clean - from TripAdvisor.com
We stay here to attend sporting events at UNLV. The RV park is ok, but over used and crowded, which makes it hard for the staff to keep it clean. The office staff was much more attentive this time. The Mexican restaurant in the hotel is excellent! The park is far enough from the strip, but not too far.

March 2007 Visit
Nothing really stands out about this park, the sites are very tight, just enough room for your rig and a tow vehicle, nothing more. The hot water is plentiful in the showers. Both the restrooms and laundry facilities were clean and nice. They offer shuttle service to the casino.
Not really sure why it was voted #1 Park, too costly with no real pizzazz to offer. When we are in the area in the future, we will look elsewhere and only stay...

Great if you want to watch "COPS" live. - from TripAdvisor.com
My wife and I stayed for a short time, next to people who had a drinking problem. There was fighting and arguing nightly. When we went to the office to complain we was told we had to leave because we caused problems. The lady that lived next to us who was being abused by her husband was kicked out of the park the same day. Sams Town is on the TV show COPS, when we saw it on TV, we should have realized the environment and stayed elsewhere.

Great place to see Las Vegas from - from TripAdvisor.com
Not really stayed anywhere else in Vegas for the 1st time RVer it suited us perfectly.
No probs on checking in, easy to park up and find place, has bins and all usual utilities. Casino right next to it that has buses leaving to the strip more or less every 30 minutes and different buses to different parts of the strip. Asda (Walmart) just opposite it :)
If you an RV traveler and fresh into it looking for a cheap and good place to stay to...

RV park OK / Casino stinks - from TripAdvisor.com
The RV Park has all you need to be comfortable, pet unfriendly even tho you can have with you. The Buffet was terrible and loaded with locals who looked like they just came in from a construction site...The casino is boring , the machines leave a lot to be desired. Stay at the park and head to the strip if you want to gamble.

Hidden gem - from TripAdvisor.com

Stayed with family and friends 3/25/07 - 3/27/07 at Sam's Town. This hotel was nicer than I had anticipated. (Stayed at South Point first 3 nights and moved here for last 2 nights.) Rooms were average size, rooms were clean and they offered connecting rooms. Rec'd extra towels and pillows on request. There was a neat light/water show in the atrium that my children enjoyed. Night shows were best because of the light and the moving animals. There...

Good Experience at Sams Town RV Park - from TripAdvisor.com
My husband and I stayed at Sam's Town Nellis RV resort in March of this year for several days before and a week after the NASCAR races. As many of you may know this is an extremely busy time of year for Las Vegas. We had a pleasant experience when we arrived and went into the office where the personnel were quite busy. They were pleasant to everyone at the counter and very helpful in giving directions into parking spaces in the different parks....

Poor treatment - from TripAdvisor.com
We stayed here for 3 nights in April. The park is fine. Better than a concrete jungle, with some green spaces and trees. The showers are the smallest I have seen and very awkward to use. The hotel has a really good buffet, we had the Saturday Brunch and were very impressed with the variety and quality, all for $10 per person. However, the RV Park office staff treated us quite rudely on check-in and on 2 other occasions when we had questions for...

Great at Sam's Town! - from TripAdvisor.com
I am remiss in writing but we were in Las Vegas June 2004 and feel I should give some input. We stayed in our travel trailer at Sam's Town and were very pleased with their resort. It was exceptionally clean, the restrooms were always great and it was right there at the Sam's Town resort. We have children and there were things for them to do and places to eat and the water show was excellent! In town we really enjoyed the Paris hotel and going...
