Happy Camper - from TripAdvisor.com
This was our first stop from MN on our way to Alaska. It was a bit out of the way but worth it! I looked it up on my Garmin GPS. I had bit of trouble finding it but I am glad we found it. The owners were very pleasant to us. They showed around on a golf cart and let us choose which place we liked best. We chose the one right next to the river. Beautiful scenery! Would have loved to go fishing but didn't. I truly enjoying watch some other young camper try it. This location really spoiled us, because the rest of our trip we never found a camp as nice as that one. I would highly recommend it. The bathrooms and showers were clean and nice. Nothing fancy but nice. They also had nice log benches for us to enjoy the spectacular view and sounds of the river. They had new stainless steel gas grills that you could use under a canopied patio next to the trout ponds, a great place to make supper. When the photos get developed, hopefully I can show you the incredible view.

Unpleasant stay - from TripAdvisor.com
The owners of this campground are highly confrontational. They seem to enjoy a good argument. They jump to conclusions and falsely accuse campers of swimming in their ponds when the campers have been in the Boulder River which borders their campground. They get angry if you mess up their bathrooms just after they've cleaned them. They will not let you use your Coleman type cookstove on their picnic tables - you apparently have to bring your own table to cook on - despite their website stating they provide a table and don't mention the whole cookstove issue. They claim the stoves will melt/burn their plastic tables. The Coleman stove company will be interested to hear that false claim. In the past I have used my cooler to put my Coleman stove on and it didn't melt it. I witnessed numerous campers being bullied by the owners of this campground and saw many pick up and leave. They are petty and unrealistic. They do not expect their camp to have normal wear and tear and police things so heavily that they make your stay miserable. They also seem to treat the 30-40 year old people & parents with children differently than people their own age 60+. We did no damage to their camp but was stopped on our way out of the camp, chewed out about 4 semi-muddy foot prints on the floor of the shower room that had just been cleaned and the owners claiming that "the whole shower room had to be recleaned" and then basically told us to leave and never return. It wouldn't surprise me if this camp has an unfounded black list of previous campers. The owners made false claims against the party next door to us, saying they had knowledge that the party has tried to rip off other campgrounds the same way. I didn't believe a word of it because the incident happened on a Saturday evening and there was no way they could have found anything out about these people until Monday at the earliest. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. The owners of this campground make your camping experience miserable with their constant policing and false accusations.

This side of heaven - from TripAdvisor.com

Me, my wife, daughter and 3 month old granddaughter stayed only one night but wished it had been a month. We were on our way back from a trip to WA state and decided to give Spring Creek a try and were pleasantly surprised. The owners were very friendly and offered every assistance we needed. My granddaughter was crazy over the resident bear, Reggie. Woke up the next morning and there were six deer standing right outside the 5th wheel and trout jumping in the creek right next to the camper. We are making plans for our next visit this summer and plan on staying longer.
