Okay for an overnight stay

The Historic Route 66 KOA is average for a KOA. The office staff were nice. The campground is right in the middle of a busy highway and a very busy train track. It's a good place to stay if you just need to sleep, and you can sleep through anything. Good highway access.

The St. Louis KOA was a typical KOA in our experience. The park amenities were average and could use some updated.
We stayed just one night on our way out west and the park was very conveniently located off of I44.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. A+ in this department.
The noise mentioned in other reviews really wasn't an issue to us.
