My family and another family of 4 went to Eminence in search of peace and quiet and some good quality family time. We found just that. We stayed in the newer cabin they call the lodge and it was beautiful. This is a log cabin with a nice big deck where we ate our meals. We stayed in a cottage with eminence, canoes. We made reservations here because we could not find too many available places and we were doing this at the last minute. The place was $175.00 a night plus $20 extra per adult. It was a run down old smoke filled cabin. Everything smelled like smoke. We had booked two nights but our family could not handle it. Some friends and I went on an inner tube float trip at the last minute, and we contacted this place. We asked for a cabin, but they only had a room...so we took it. When we arrived, they told us a cabin came open, and we were thrilled. We walked in to check it out and something smelled fishy...literally. We thought it was the old trash can and moved it out. So, we took the room, being excited about the extra space and having a kitchen to cook in...
