My husband and I were attending my family's reunion in Branson the first weekend in August 2008. The reunion was at a different resort down the road from Cooper Creek, but by the time we were able to book our vacation, they didn't have any rooms left. We stayed in our pop-up camper for a 4 day weekend on the camp ground. We had a not so prime space located right next to the dumpster and bath house. The bath house was about 100 years old and management put grossly filthy rugs in front of the showers that you have to step over after your cold shower.The lady working the desk was very rude to all. We asked her simple questions such as do you sell fire wood? We received very hateful responses....

I've been going to cooper creek for some 10 years. When the present ownership took over the resort, vast improvements have been made and the facilities are excellent. I have only stayed in the cabin section. Rob and his associates always take care of your needs and make you feel welcome. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on Taneycomo.
