Loved Platte River Campgrounds! - from TripAdvisor.com

We just returned from Platte River Campground. This was the first time we camped and we had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back. The Rangers were great and the place was clean. Nice big sites with a pad for the tent, picnic table and fire pit. Restrooms and showers were clean and they had an area to clean your dishes, hot water. Nice hiking trails to Lake Michigan and the dunes were about 15 mins. You can't take your bike on the trails...

Our family has just returned from a wonderful camping vacation in NW Michigan at Platte River Campground. We had not settled on a destination for our annual vacation until just a few weeks ago.
