As one of the owners of Duke Creek Campground, I would like to point out a few things about the previous posting. First of all this woman was not a visitor, but a person that was caught trespassing and given the choice to either pay the day use fee or leave. Apparently the multitude of signs and the stop sign indicating the need to stop and register wasn't enough? If you disregard all the info at the entrance by the office, you may be in violation of park policy! I say, you probably wouldn't be welcome for a return visit anyway!

Inappropriate staff behavior

As a visitor to Duke Creek Campground in July 2008 - I would expect professionalism from all staff and rangers. As soon as we stepped out of our car, we were witness to staff/rangers yelling at kids in the pool and berated for registration. We were unaware of the office location to register (building is not labeled "office").
