Not bad for the price - from TripAdvisor.com
|
We booked this cabin a month or so in advance and got the off season rate of 60.00 a night. When we arrived on location the clerk that was checking us in almost charged us the wrong rate. We had already booked and paid one night as a deposit. After we reminded the clerk that it was still the off season she corrected the price. Also the clerk asked if we wanted to buy a beach pass but neglected to state that it may not be needed this week and that it was not required for all beaches.
The cabin itself was what you would expect for a campground rental. There was some ants in the bathroom but it is a campground. On the plus side there was an AC, Fan and fridge for us along with maid service.
One thing that they do not allow in the whole campground are campfires. So what is the point of camping if you can't sit by the fire at night or cook on one???
In my opinion it was worth the 60.00 off season rate but may not be worth the 95.00 in season rate. If you can't have a campfire in a campground it's not worth it either. Also always make sure the clerk who is checking you in knows what the off season and in season times are.
All in all if we go back again we will be looking for a place that will allow campfires if it has campground in the name.
