1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Very Primitive - from TripAdvisor.com
Very outdated, It is obvious they have not put any money back into their property. Primitive bathroom. Needs updating badly. Raw dirty cement floors, Metered showers quarter for 3 minutes. No soap in restroom to wash hands, no paper towels or even hand blowers. Sink areas maybe wiped down once a day if lucky.
No lites in park. 23ft + would have difficult time manueveuring around narrow untrimmed streets. One dump station, not modern at all. I also was very disappointed, we even left after 2 days and paid for 4. They are not equipped to offer use of air conditioning though their rates reflect 5 star camping. Its too bad with a little effort they could make this campground a more enjoyable experience. The only nice thing is being close to PTown and beaches.

What I guess was once a family campsite is run down, and very outdated.

The bathroom is very dirty, we even found an empty box of KY Jelly in one shower. (Province town is a gay friendly area and lots of gays camp there, if that is your thing fine, but not a family campground for sure.)

You have to pay a quarter per minute to shower.

No playgrounds, have to walk a half hour to get to town to buy anything. (Parking in town costs $10+ dollars.)

Security guards stalk the campers hourly, actually follow people around at night. I guess it is okay for safety but a little to intense. One woman was screaming at the guard at 4:30 in the morning to stop following her.

I will never go here again, if you want a family campsite look elsewhere.

3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars Quiet and definitely environment-oriented - from TripAdvisor.com
I used to visit this campground as a child every summer. Now grown up, I went back last summer. The phone reservation went well and we got to pick our camping site as we were just off the tourist season and the campground was mostly empty. The employees were generally nice though not very customer's service-oriented and the bath/shower rooms were clean. We found some of the campground rules to be obsessively strict: we felt as if our garbage would be checked to make sure we abide by their recycling policy - recycle or be evicted! Overall though, our experience was enjoyable, the atmosphere very peaceful, quiet - not at all a big party campground - and generally friendly and I would go back if the occasion presented itself.

We stayed at Dunes Edge three nights. We found the facilities clean and well cared for. Beautiful setting - wooded, rolling hills. Bathhouse - kept clean. Garbage in barrels picked up regularly. Pleasant employees. Need to cross over Rt. 6 (highway with traffic light) to get into town - so be careful. No sidewalks or bike path along Rt. 6. Would stay there again. Family friendly. Generally quiet. Highly recommend it.

1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars1.0 stars Very Bad Experience - from TripAdvisor.com
The good stuff first. The washrooms were clean. But the cost at $50 for a tent site coupled with the terrible customer service and it all but ruined an otherwise great trip. It soured me so much that we won't be going back to PTown as planned this fall. Generally the owners harassed and treated us poorly. Our experience was not unusual. Lost reservations turned into false promises and so much animosity when a solution was possible that it was very bad.
