As a seasonal camper, I have to tell you to disregard the previous reviews. The campground is not under the person who was in charge previously. RP is not the place to go if you want a pool and lots of things to do, but if you like to relax and not be crowded by others beside you, then please give it another chance. New Management is unfriendly

Have been going to the camp ground for over 15 yrs, not the largest, but the former Manager (Bill) was outstanding and family oriented. During a recent stay (05/09), the new assistant Manager was rude and unfriendly, citing numerous rules that Bill never enforced but that he sure was, even though we were not breaking any at the time. Horrible weekend

We stayed at Roaring Point in august 2007 and it was horrible! They have no pool and they say you can swim in the river but we didn't. We ended up leaving!
