Love Merry Meadows

I camp at Merry Meadows on a regular basis and have never had one problem with the management or facilities. There are well travelled, wide trails through the woods, security gates, and lots of wildlife. I would recommend this place to every camper around.

My family and I booked the Labor Day weekend at Merry Meadows Campground (formerly Morris Meadows) in Freeland, Maryland for Labor Day Weekend. Their website said their pool was opened every day up to Labor Day. We decided to make a long weekend and arrive on Thursday Night so we could have 3 solid days of pool time. A weekend to look forward to!!

What is not to like. The deer, chipmunks, birds. Natural woods and still plenty of it. Game room for kids, snack bar, golf range, putt-putt, basketball, baseball, tennis, volleyball, horseshoes, Pickle ball (a new hot game from the south), playground for the tots. Swimming pool with lifeguards. Organized activities on weekends during open seasons. This year we had casino night, carnival. The money raised is given to a charity of the year. Along...
