Spent the Memorial Day weekend here, and never wanted to be more away from my campsite on any camping trip ever! Quite honestly, the other review is dead on correct, though we did enjoy the small hike to the river & hiking along the path. The donkey alarm clock was very interesting, too! And by the way, quiet hours do not exist here; you have to wait until the drunks pass out.

For $40 a night, McMahon's is extremely over-priced. The facilities are filthy and very poorly kept. There's one toilet each for men & women for the entire campground (dirty and covered with bugs and webs) and hot showers are during designated times at a different, far off, area. While the map makes the campground look like the location is right on the water, it's not and there's really nothing to do anywhere nearby as once you walk to the...
