Too bad web info on this campground is so hard to find. It is one of the best places I have ever camped at. Large private sites, almost all with views of the pristine Cobscook Bay. It is a kayakers dream. Seemingly endless protected estuarine water to paddle with NO development. In about 15 hours of kayaking I saw a total of 3 other kayakers and maybe 4 boats (all in the far distance). The seals follow your boat and the eagles ride the thermals...

SouthBay Campgrounds is on top of the rest and absolutely the best. Good old-fashioned hospitality with tent sites that make you wonder if anyone else is around. Cabins in the moonlight. The RV's are stationed at the entrance, before the inground pool, and shower area. The sites are large and comfortable.
