Went because we had family there and it sounded beautiful, after checking online it looked great. We arrived early knowing that check-in wasn't until 3 p.m. but we had family already there (seasonal) lucky for us they had a golf cart and picked us up at the main office. We quickly learned that this place is big and if you do not have the luck of renting a golf cart put on comfortable shoes because everything is so spaced out, including the... Read More >>

My husband and my two children stayed for 5 days the third week of August. Overall, my husband and I were rather disappointed. We've never been there but from the website thought we were going to a pretty good place. Couple of problems: Our "park home" aka: trailer!, was very dirty. The floors had dirt and sand all over them. At first I just thought it needed as quick sweep, but then realized my sons socks were very dirty from walking around a... Read More >>

We went there from a recommendation online but found that you had to pay for most extra activities. We saw a hypnotist that we had to pay $10 a ticket for. We saw him at another campground for free. He was the best of the entertainment. and for a CG that says it has professional entertainers, except for the hypnotist who had a very clean act, I did not find this to be the case. The place was dirty and the bathrooms smelly and seemed not to be... Read More >>

After spending 10+ years of vacationing here with my parents in the 80's I returned with my family to experience the fun of Point Sebago. This is my 3rd visit and perhaps it is time to look for another sumer getaway. Accommodations: We rented an all inclusive park home. This is simply a trailer with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room and kitchen. The beds are horrible! I would sleep better on the floor or outside in a tent. Problem being there... Read More >>

Good Weather is key to staying out and about at this resort when you otherwise could be sitting in one of the "old" or rather "rustic" Park Homes (Trailers) My sister and our families stayed in Units 514 and 515. These are "older" Park Homes and are among the group of "older units" that have "old" stereos with speakers mounted into the ceilings. The stereo parts are "old" and can't be replaced anymore. The maintenance staff said they are slowly... Read More >>

The Point Sebago Resort website is very well done. Marketing is a strength of Point Sebago Resort. Unfortunately, customer service and experience are not strong suits for the resort. Special events and day camps are frequently overbooked, if you are going make sure to prebook your activities prior to arriving. Our suggestion, book a hotel room and take your own daily excursions. This resort is just not worth the $$$. We felt like we... Read More >>

We stayed at Point Sebago because they were the hosts of the Bridgton Brew Fest. My husband and I (early 50's) stayed in a 2 bedroom "park home". The home was adequate, more spacious and private than a hotel room, but really a camper without wheels. We arrived on Friday at noon and got unpacked just before the down pour hit. When it stopped raining we went for a long walk around the grounds and across the golf course paths. This is a beautiful... Read More >>
