This was our first visit to Carter Caves State Resort Park and were very impressed. The rates were very affordable, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Just returned from two nights at Carter Caves State Resort. We stayed in the lodge. The rooms are nice with a balcony overlooking a wooded area. Separate tub/shower and toilet are separate from vanity area. We had been there a few years back and enjoyed the park but the restaurant in the lodge was not very good.
