Must-Do for Horse Lovers - from TripAdvisor.com
I'll say up front that this is a place for people who like horses, who want to see horses and know more about horses. It's -all- about horses. If you are just looking for generic thrill rides, and don't care about horses, it could be a little dull. But if you like horses, it will be anywhere from interesting to thrilling. As for me, I am a horse racing fan, and the Kentucky Horse Park was one of the most memorable places I've been on any...

Great place for horse lovers - from TripAdvisor.com
This is a great place for any avid horse lover. There is a wide variety of things to see and do at the park. You can take in a show, visit the museum, or visit many of the other educational parts of the park. The International Museum of the Horse is a must see, although be aware, in preparation for the 2010 World Equestrian Games, this museum is undergoing some upgrades. So some exhibits inside may not be available. The American Saddlebred...

Kentucky Horse Park visit - from TripAdvisor.com
We just returned from a trip to Kentucky Horse Park. Hats Off day, so it was free. It's a good thing it was free because it sure would not have been worth paying to get in. We took our 3 year old granddaughter and daughter-in-law. They were so excited, my granddaughter could not wait for the pony rides. Well, we ask about 5 different people that worked there were the children's activities were, including the lady at the visitor's center, and got...

Not so impressed - from TripAdvisor.com

Kentucky Horse Park is a very big place. However, I think the cost to get in is way too high compared to what there is to do. Mostly you walk around a look at horses.
The horseback riding was worth the price. That was the highlight of our day there. You have to pay to get in and then pay to go horse back riding though.
Eat before going. They have a place to eat that is overpriced for normal food (hamburgers, hot dogs, salads). The food is...

Lots to do and see! - from TripAdvisor.com
We visited the Kentucky Horse Park for a couple events during July and had the opportunity to tour the museums and other facilities. It was very interesting for anyone from those who are just interested in horses to horse experts. I would definitely allow at least full day to tour the facility. They also have a scenic trail ride and a breed demonstration. A visit to the Saddlebred Museum is included in admission too.

My little horse lover had a ball... - from TripAdvisor.com
We arrived on an unusually cold Easter morning, but the 40 degree weather did not deter us. My 8 year old has been taking horseback riding lessons and has since become obsessed with horses. She was not disappointed. We paid an extra $15 each on top of our admission to do the horseback riding as well. Even if you are a beginner, the horses are very well trained as trail horses so they pretty much just follow the leader and you don't have to do...
