In my opinion this campground is fantastic unless you are looking to camp inside a city with asphalt roads and city lights with free baby sitting services. Our stay was very relaxed the people around us are very nice and respectful.Peace and quite,good fishing,wildlife to watch what more do you need.You don't even have to leave for food or other needs Jim has propane, bait, food and tools to fix the little oops you get.I read some other reviews...

Owner doesn't have people skills

Electric is 20 years outdated. Bath house is filthy, place turns into a swamp when it rains. Owners love to take your money but are nowhere to be found when you have a problem. Jim has a bad temper and is not a people person. We were seasonals for the past 8 years and have watched him run off most of the seasonals. We were very happy to leave.

The place floods, no kind of events whats so ever owner has no people skills. Many seasonal people have left.

Seasonal Camp

We have been seasonal camping for 5 years and moved to Harper lake campground this year and we love it. Jim and Stephanie are always there to help with any needs. There is a fully stocked store and what they don't have that you need they will get. We have 10 year old twins that love it here. They have made many friends already. We look forward to many years here at Harper lake.

Great Campground

We had a great time. We rented a pontoon boat and caught some real nice fish. We'll be going back this spring to catch some more!
