We've been visiting Shelbyvile for a few years now and this was our second stay at Robin Hood Woods. Our first stay was in a 1 1/2BR cabin and this year we stayed in a 2 BR cabin since we brought along another couple. Our friends absolutely loved the cabin and the park is beautiful. We rented 2 of their cabins for a 4 night family vacation and we really loved this place. Prior to our visit to this park, we stayed at another facility that just offered cabin rentals. Prices at Robin Hood were much more reasonable and the cabins were really clean. In addition, there were things for the kids to stay busy with. That's always a main concern for us. We stayed at the Robin Hood Woods Resort & Campground near Shelbyville, IL. and would recommend it to other campers. We rented a 1 bedroom cabin and it was very nice. There was a pond near the cabin and there are other cabins close by along with camper trailers. They also have a pool area and game area that is nice for kids.
