Stone Mountain Family Campground is a fantastic site. The facilities are pretty good, the campsites are large enough, lots of shade. But best of all is the scenery. I feel sorry for the reviewer who could not raise his sights above looking for the sewer (covered in debris). Arrived at site and could not locate sewer drain. Person in office did not know where it was located. Finally located sewer after raking debris from site. Also, site was very unlevel; high in the front and low in the back. Sites in this loop appeared to have little or no maintenance. Site pricing was $35 per night. Left 1 day early due to bad weather and no refund was available; only a "raincheck". Bathrooms were clean, but showed signs of age....

Enjoyed Ourselves

We really enjoyed ourselves when we stayed here in June of 2007. Our site was great and the park was well maintained. They provide transportation every 30 minutes over to Stone Mountain. We new very little about the Stone Mountain before arriving and found many, many things for the kids to do. We would return.
