It was the most greatest place we have been. We loved the log cabin, Bear Den. We were there for a week and loved every minute of it. We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave. The staff there were just great too. It was a place that we will go back again. There are many places around that you can go see that is just breath taking and is not far to drive too. You will just love it as much as we did. You will also fall in love with the... Read More >>

This is the place if you love nature. it has it all. Streams, waterfalls, hiking trails. It is so beautiful. You don't usually get this all in one place. I was surprised at the many types of accommodations. they have cabins, rv sites, tent sites and rooms. We stayed in a cabin. Its not the Ritz - the cabins are rustic, but are clean. there were several groups there all having meetings and good times. this place is one of those green places where... Read More >>

The people were wonderful, the grounds were immaculate and the hiking was sublime. I was able to get a massage on property, and every morning the lodge had coffee, tea and camaraderie. It's a magical place, especially if you're a nature lover or just looking for a place to unwind. Read More >>

First, the good: The place is gorgeous and was quiet the weekend we went there. The waterfall was stunning and it seems like it has a lot of amenities. The bad: campsites are WAY small and they only allow one tent. For the size, the campsite was far overpriced. We ended up paying over $120 for 6 people for just the campsite. There was no toilet/porta potty within walking distance that we could see. The firewood was the most expensive I've seen... Read More >>

We had a family getaway weekend in July and rented two of the cabins . We had 13 people in all and although there were a lot of positives about the campsite, the cabins left a lot to be desired. The cabins really could have used a good cleaning, they had a damp musty smell, and linens were scary. We had a rodent encounter during our stay that made it hard to enjoy the experience. However, I will say the staff was very friendly and accommodating.... Read More >>

After reading some of the reviews for Enota Mountain, I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. We camped in a popup and the site was very nice, right on the stream. The staff was nice enough but did charge us $4 extra for arriving at our campsite 2 hours early. The bathrooms were nice and new but need a good cleaning. I am not saying they were not clean but they needed a good scrubbing and need to be cleaned more than one time... Read More >>

3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars3.0 stars Stay on the Campgrounds and not in the Cabins - from
Enota Mountain Retreat is high in the Northern Georgia mountains. Scenery is beautiful. Weather wasn't too humid and had no rain. No cell phones connection, so be ready. They do provide one phone for the entire camp (they only ask phone calls are no longer than 10 minutes very fair rule). There is a pond with many friendly ducks, organic farm and small animals. The waterfalls are very beautiful. Those and the hiking trails are moderate to... Read More >>
